Dancan is a child of a single parent who is poor and due to abject poverty she started
manufacturing local alcohol brew to upkeep her three children. It was known that his
mother manufactures local brew she was arrested and convicted in a court of law.After
conviction of his mother Dancan together with his other two siblings proceeded to the
streets of Kilgoris in Narok County in search of food. Dancan together with his two
siblings were rescued by the police and were taken to court whereby they were
committed to MLCM for care and custody.
