Our Children's Stories

I still remember the days when the street was my home — the cold nights, the hunger, and the feeling that no one saw me or cared if I was okay. I had learned to survive, but deep down, I longed for love, safety, and a place where I truly belonged. Then came Motherly Love Children’s Ministry. They didn’t just offer me food and shelter — they gave me a family. For the first time in my life, I felt seen, valued, and loved. They nurtured me with patience, taught me discipline and self-worth, and helped me believe that my life could be so much more than my past.Through their care, I went back to school, learned important life skills, and began to dream again. It wasn’t always easy — there were days I wanted to give up — but they walked with me through every struggle, encouraging me and reminding me that I was capable of so much more than I thought.Today, I stand as a strong, independent young woman. I have a place I can call my own, a career path I’m proud of, and the confidence to face the future with hope. My transformation is living proof that love changes lives.I will forever be grateful to Motherly Love Children’s Ministry for rescuing me, believing in me, and giving me the foundation to build a life I’m proud of.
