Our story
From a dream to a place to belong
Founded in 2018 by Violet Kwamboka, Motherly Love Children's Ministry is a community-based organization in Narok, Kenya, caring for orphaned and vulnerable street-connected children.
Violet first felt called to this work through a series of dreams in which she believed God was calling her to go to the streets and help children. The need she witnessed was too urgent to ignore, and she chose to take a step of faith.
That step began with food. Violet visited children on the streets, bringing meals and a listening ear. Many came to know her as “Mum.” What began as a feeding program grew into a ministry focused on shelter, care, education and the love of a family.
