Motherly Love Children’s Ministry was founded by Violet and her husband in 2014. This organization provides street orphaned, neglected and vulnerable children in the streets of  Narok-Kenya with care, food, clean water, shelter, clothing, hygiene items, love, medical care, and education. The word Mothery Love means love from a mother. Violet and her husband named Motherly Love Children’s Ministry from the result of the dream that Violet had about children and the love that she has for the children. This dream and call from God is now bringing HOPE too many children!

Violet was confident that God had something special in store for her; however, nothing could prepare her for the great need that she witnessed. Violet saw it very hard to handle. Her husband gave her the heart and courage to respond to the call of God….there was nothing to feed the children, nobody willing to join the good work. She took the children to their house; dress them, feed them, guide them through the word of God and then finally gives to various children’s homes. This triggered her heart for some time but nonetheless, she did not give up.

 It was 2017 December when Violet and her husband started feeding the street children in Narok as a result of showing Motherly Love to them. Every week on Saturday children were to assemble in a common place waiting Violet to come and pick them for the whole day activities which included; Counselling session, spiritual nourishments, playing different games and them get food to eat-breakfast Lunch and dinner.

The New Year’s 2018 started with a new chapter in the lives of street children. One street Child-John Kashu got injured and because Violet was the only friend to this children-they called her and actually some started to look for her physically. It was very heartbreaking to see a hand of a child broken…”I was heartbroken when I saw John Kashu crying in pain “Violet narrates, “I took him to hospital for medication and surgery was done…because the boy had no place to go, I had to take him to our house. You know what? All the boy from the street followed him. Was just confused what to do but……God opened other avenues. We got a residential place to rent….”Violet reports.

Violet was filled with an undeniable passion to help these defenseless children that she had been blessed to meet. And so a great story started and Motherly Love Children’s Ministry begun.

The vision that God has given Violet and her husband for this ministry is HUGE. As they remains faithful and obedient in moving forward with the home, they continues to watch Motherly Love grow. Violet and her husband are simply and regular people; a family of 3 boys. They is not one for the spotlight, yet they give themselves to make these children a voice. Violet is so thankful that she said YES to God; many things could have lost if she said no.

God has grown Motherly Love Children’s Ministry since the start in 2018 and He continues to bless this ministry.
